VSA arts of Alabama serves children and adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities through the arts.
VSA arts of Alabama is an affiliate of VSA arts, an international nonprofit organization serving millions of people every year through a network of nationwide affiliates and in 55 countries worldwide. VSA arts was founded in 1974 by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith as an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
